Saturday June 6th, 9am-3pm
(Rain date Sunday June 7th)
How it works:
Click on the "SIGN UP FORM" below if you plan to hold a yard/garage sale. Your address will then be added to a Google map and a printable list of all participating homes. You do not need a permit and there is no cost to participate in the sale.
This event is not affiliated with the Village of Brookfield, so please note there will be no special trash pickup associated with the sale.
The organizers will be promoting the event and you are encouraged to do your own promoting as well. You may want to coordinate day-of signage with other participants on your block. We'll send out reminders via email as the sale date approaches.

Tips to having a successful sale!
Tip #1: Advertise your sale!
Work with your neighbors to make signs advertising your sale. Share the sale date with family, friends and coworkers! Here are some websites where you can advertise your sale:

Tip #2: Price your items before the sale date!
Having your items priced ahead will save you time! Use price stickers or hang signs for categories (e.g., $1 per book)
Tip #3: Organize your items!
Begin gathering your items a few weeks before the sale and give items a wipe down if dusty. This is when you should begin to price your items. Keep bigger items (furniture, appliances) at the front of your sale to draw in shoppers!
Tip #4: Have cash on hand and expect negotiations!
Have plenty of cash on hand to break big bills or make a sign if you accept electronic payment (Venmo, Zelle)
